  • Curriculum and discussions led by postdocs at a men’s correctional facility to increase STEM access to underrepresented populations
  • Class discussions are twice a week, 1.5 hours per week
  • Pilot program topics include
    • Introduction to scientific method
    • History and ethics in science
    • Chemistry
    • Cell biology and genetics
    • Natural products
    • Neuroscience and physiology
    • Health, disease, and immunology
    • Astrophysics
    • Current events
    • Careers and further education
